I Have observed and experienced the Andre Britton experience for close to 10 years, and the phrase "basketball professional" suits Dre perfectly. Many can play the game at a high level, but a special few combine the savvy of a player with profound knowledge of the game, and most importantly, a genuine knack for teaching ballers young and old. Andre is one of the few.

My name is Duke Freeman-McKamey. I am an American professional basketball player overseas. I was blessed with the opportunity to work with and learn from Coach Andre Britton during the summer. I know for a fact that Coach Britton is a champion on and off of the court, due to the fact that in a short period of time he helped me grow tremendously in both areas. He is a true guru of the game. I have experienced Coach Britton elevate the knowledge and play of players of all levels and age groups, from middle school thru NBA. He is highly respected in New York City the mecca of basketball. In knowing this you understand that Coach Britton would be successful anywhere in the world. He is the perfect compliment and mentor, for anyone that loves the game of basketball, and wishes to get better at either coaching or playing

Through the years I have worked with a lot of trainers, but my experience this past summer in working with Coach Britton was by far, one of the most productive! He not only worked with me to improve my basketball skills but in getting ready for the up and coming season in Europe, he helped me to improve my conditioning. Coach Britton worked with me on ball-handling, passing, shooting--all the basics, as well as agility and plyometrics! He is very personable thus allowing for a lot of interaction during the workouts. I've already made plans with him for next summer.

- Duane "40" Woodward~NYC

If you ever get a chance to workout with this gentleman I advise you do so! I feel like I'm going into this season feeling better then I have felt in a long time both skill wise and physically! and that is mostly attributed to working with Coach Andre Britton. He puts you through a serious professional workout and absolutely does not tolerate slacking which brings out the best in athletes. He works on everything from increasing your speed, vertical leap to hand eye coordination to ball handling etc. It was truly a pleasure and a honor to work with him. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Working with Coach Britton this summer has helped to drastically expand my game. He brings a combination of conditioning, skill development, and intellect that is rarely seen in basketball. He's helped expand my game further away from the basket and has taught me to read and react naturally while still being under control. Through my training with Coach Britton I've prepared myself for my sophomore year at Harvard University.

- Kyle Casey~Massachusetts

For 5 years my son has flourished as a basketball player under Coach Britton's excellent coaching. Through his attentive and expert training Coach Britton has helped my son develop skills and physical fitness that exceeds his age. Coach Britton's enthusiasm for basketball combined with his deep knowledge, personalized coaching style and commitment to good sportsmanship make Andre the ideal coach for any child who loves basketball. I am thrilled to recommend Coach Britton- a deeply committed and experienced coach with a heart of gold.

I worked with Coach Britton during the summer I was able to get my body in the shape that I needed it to be for the up and coming basketball season. Together we were able to diagnose my weaknesses and personalize a workout that would strengthen them while simultaneously improve the areas in which I already excelled. His excellent time utilization allows him to effectively accomplish what would take other trainers twice the time. Coach Britton starts with the fundamentals and works his way to the other areas of the body development. With the help of his expertise and experience, any player will not only meet but exceed their individual goals.

- Gordon James~Brooklyn, NY

Andre showed great patience and teaching skills helping a middle aged novice prepare for my main event- a hard won charity game of H-O-R-S-E with Knick great John Starks, after many sessions, I hit the floor of the garden and lost by only one letter, thanks to the trick shots we had worked on. John then took the time to praise my "excellent form", and expressed astonishment when I replied that I had started lessons with Andre. More than that great experience, Andre re-instilled not just a few basic skills but also the love for playing (not just watching) the game!

- Tony Hatch~NYC

Training with Andre Britton has made all the difference for my son... Andre is experienced, knowledgeable, committed, innovative and reliable. His training improves overall physical conditioning, provides cross-training, and teaches basketball specific skills and strategies. Our family has known Coach Andre for over 8 years and we can't say enough about him. He is a fantastic person, a caring coach and a wonderful friend.

- Cynthia Viole-Ash

Coach Andre Britton is the top of the line in basketball coaches in NYC. He is unique in that he is mature enough to not only teach the most effective basketball skills but also teach the psychology of the game. My son has been working with Coach Britton for 3 years and has gone from a good player to an outstanding player who played on the National AAU team that was one of the two NY teams at his grade that went to the National Basketball Tournament last year and has received many additional trophies along the way. I attribute my son's success to Coach Britton and his ability to motivate him to push on to higher levels, to teach him how to exercise to keep his body in prime condition and give him the bigger picture of the overall strategy and sportsmanship of the game. He knows how to talk to children in a way that they respect and understand while instilling confidence, resilience and the love of the game.

Coach Andre Britton is a great person with the ability to train all athletes on any level from college to pros. My name is Rodney Blackstock and I play professional basketball in Europe. I came to Coach Britton's workouts in 2007 because I heard he was one of the best coach/trainers around. Coach Britton helped improve everything about my game from my explosion to ball handling, quickness and range on my jumpshot. Throughtout the intense workouts everyday of the week leading up to my try-outs, I knew I was ready because Coach Britton has me in the best shape I ever been in. He also had my confidence level higher than it's ever been. Thanks to Coach Britton's workouts I have played well in camps and now have several job offers from overseas.-Thanks!

- Rodney Blackstock ~ North Carolina

I had a chance to work with Coach Britton and I can say for myself that he has really helped me improve my game. He has helped me with my one on one moves, dribbling, shooting, conditioning, eye hand coordination, all of it. You name it, he does it. Best of all he has really helped me with the mental part of the game. Helping me to learn how to stay more focused which helps players to perform better. Coach Britton's love and desire for the game as well as experience teaching others is what makes him great to work with.

- Brian Laing ~ Overseas

If Coach Britton's resume doesn't speak for itself as far as the caliber of talent he has played with and coached his workouts definitely will. I played basketball at a high level in high school scoring over 1560 points, and in college being a two year starter at Lehigh. Still the first time I attended one of Coach Britton's workouts I was immediately impressed with the amount basketball knowledge he possessed. His workouts are intense, he incorporates all the basics in shooting, ball handling, passing, and conditioning smoothly throughout the workout. What makes his workouts special is his attention to the details of the game, and his ability to help each player improve on their weakness,

- Kyle Neptune ~ Brooklyn

I have known Dre/Coach Britton for some years. He worked with me in the year 2000 to help me get ready for the NBA All-Star celebrity dunk contest. We worked on a number of dunks, including some he felt I could win with. Coach Britton kept it fun and simple. After a weeks work I was off to All-Star weekend. I wound up tying Terrell Owens in regulation, only to lose to him dunking over a guy sitting in a chair in a sudden death dunk off. I want to thank Coach Britton for the incredible workout and experience. It was a lot of fun, and I would recommend him to anyone looking to work on their game, or just to get in shape. Coach Britton rocks.

Thank you for your coaching, and for teaching me the basketball skills and drills; basketball strategies; and the personal focus and determination. Private and group training with you is the best thing I do for myself each week. I cannot believe how much a 43 year old woman executive and mother of two has gain from your coaching, and how it is applicable it is to real life. I just could not see being in the business world or in life this successfully without your coaching. You are the best - a basketball and life coach all-in-one.

"I have known and been coached by Andre for almost 10 years. He is a motivational coach; supportive and positive but also tough and challenging when circumstances require. He knows all position on the court and he has helped me all across my game from posting up to use of my left hand to shooting. He is particularly helpful with the drive forward on that last step to get the open shot. He is a team oriented coach and team members respect his knowledge of the game and his own skills (absent 1 knee) and want to win for themselves and for him.

- Todd Guenther ~ NYC

Coach Britton (Dre) helped me so much with my overall game, by teaching me pro level moves, I have so much more confidence in my game. Coach also taught me more about court awareness. My ball handle is sharper, my moves have gotten sharper and my jump shot is more consistent thanks to Coach Britton. I would recommend anyone who is looking to sharpen their skills or working on their game for fun, Coach has something for everyone.

- Kayode Ayeni ~ Brooklyn. NY

Coach Britton has helped me achieve my goals in basketball. He has helped me do things that I thought I would do. He has given me the confidence to play my game, and the work ethic to continue playing at levels that I myself never thought possible. All in all he pushes me to the next level and motivates me in ways that no one has ever been able to do before. Working with Coach Britton is not only fun but very rewarding.

- Pistalina Timol ~ Pennsylvania

Coach Britton has helped to take my game to the next level. He pushes me, but in a way that encourages me to have fun while improving my game. I highly recommend him to male or female basketball players of all ages and abilities.

Andre has played a instrumental role in developing my basketball game. Prior to my experience with Andre I was a post player. Andre has patiently and tenaciously worked with me to develop the skills and mindset of a guard. I sometimes feel the transition Coach Andre has put me though(from post player to guard) is miraculous! Coach Andre is great at what he does because not only does he have a passion for basketball and a knack for coaching, he is also well versed in the game of basketball.

I was one of those cats who always said I was athletic and could pick up most sports fairly easily. I thought that until I played in my first charity basketball game. I was awful. An embarrassment to myself, my craft, my family, my race... at least that's what it felt like. I decided to do something about it. I started working out with Andre Britton at the Reebok Sports Club a couple times a week. Sooner than I expected I was developing a shot and a new understanding for the game of basketball. It's been a few years now and though I am not dunking, I no longer have to be ashamed when i'm out there. I have Andre to thank for that. As corny as it sounds, he made it easy, fun and set very reasonable goals. Whenever I am in town I still work with him just to make sure i'm on point. Needless to say the workouts also keeps that fat percentage down. Being 35 plus that unfortunately is a concern. So in closing i'll just say that because of my raging vanity and working with Andre, when people ask me can I hoop? I can proudly respond "I don't suck".

Andre is a wonderful coach whose gifts extend way beyond teaching basketball skills (Which by the way he does very well.

Andre teaches kids (and adults) how to think on the court, how to stay calm, how to share and how to assert yourself when appropriate, how to maximize your time both in practice and in the games, how to respect the game and learn how to deal with situations on the basketball court that will translate into dealing with life situations. And while dealing with all of this, Andre leaves his ego at home: his sessions are all about supporting his students and helping them grow.

- Richard Bregman ~ Parent/NYC and CEO MJB Asset Management

Coach Britton is an excellent trainer and teacher. This summer working out with him I gained confidence on my jump shot and my ball handling skills. He taught me pro level moves and post up moves that make me an more efficient scorer around the basket and on the perimeter. I'm looking forward to working with him again this summer.

Morning Hoops With Andre

Our morning run with Andre is something I look forward to each week. Andre has been a terrific coach and friend throughout the years I have known him. He has really made a difference to all of the players in terms of our knowledge for the game from a team and individual perspective. They are the best two hours of the week for me. It has been a tremendous experience.

- Lawrence M. Deluise ~ NYC, Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor

When I worked out with Andre I felt like I was getting better every day. He sure helped me fine tune my basketball skills. Not only did he work on my skill but he was also a great mentor. What he said I did because I had trust in him and his basketball knowledge. I can say he got me prepared for college and really helping me with my confidence. I truly thank him for working with me. Much Respect.

~ Lawrence Borha

I had the pleasure of working with Andre Britton at Reebok Sports Club in Manhattan, New York for approximately five years where I was the supervisor of the basketball officials assigned to the leagues. Andre was hired to take over and run the basketball leagues at the fitness club. The club was running two leagues during the winter and summer period which included over eight teams in both leagues. Before Andre arrived, the leagues had been operating for approximately four years and were on a decline with member participation. Andre came in and re-organized the leagues and almost instantly they were running more effectively and in full capacity. The leagues became the talk of the club and the level of play in the "A" division was college caliber. I also had the opportunity to observe the high level of professionalism Andre displayed while training other athletes in basketball. Working with Andre Britton has been a great pleasure and I always look forward to working with him.

~ Randy Donaldson- Division 2 & 3 College Official/ Metro NY

Working with Andre has elevated my game tremendously. The skill work that we do is at pro level and helps me compete at pro level. Not only do we focus on what I need to work on he helps me improve my strengths. We also talk about concepts of the game for example knowing when to change pace or what you should be looking for when attacking the hole. His point guard tips have help me become a better player and his workouts are defintely one of a kind.

GREAT JOB PREPARING IN THE OFF SEASON

Coach- "The work that you and Nate have put in has him feeling extremely confident going into this season. This is the all important junior year and he's bringing a more well rounded game and the right attitude thanks to you."

Al & Jhanice Garvey

"I am thankful to have had the opportunity to regularly work out with Andre since 8th grade. Not only have we developed a great friendship, but he has helped transform me both mentally and physically into a college basketball player. In a world with so many coaches and trainers out there, Andre separates himself from the pack by teaching all aspects of the game of basketball from conditioning, strength training, skill work at every position and stressing the importance of the mental side of basketball. Most importantly, Andre has passed his basketball knowledge and "killer instinct" on to me as a player, which has completely transformed my game. Since we first met in 8th grade, I've grown to love Andre like an older brother, and I look forward to working with him for years to come."

--Michael Bregman, Washington University of St. Louis

I Moved to NYC when I was 14. I trained with a good basketball coach at Reebok Sports Club/NY. His name was Charles. He was Ok. 2 years later I met Andre Britton. My friend to this day. I did not believe the transformation. I played against the Mayor of Sacramento (Former NBA Great Phoenix Suns Kevin Johnson) one of my idols, granted off of a knee surgery to help coach the likes of Olympic Swimming great Dara Torres and other female athletes. Not only did I not let Kevin Johnson out score me, I believe we were fairly even in points. but I didn't look silly is the moral. And he taught me technique, shooting and the fundamentals. I was able to have good competition with most people who walked on the court because of Andre. I miss those times.  I will say this, I was smart enough to leave the court when NBA Hall Of Famer Alex English walked in. I was also smart enough to know I was not going to let Acting great Adam Sandler a known basketball aficionado score one point on me when I was guarding him. I have known Andre for over 25 plus years. He made the game fun for me to learn and was instrumental in my basketball development. I also witnessed him work with NBA players, TV personalities and so many top tier Major College, High School and middle-school student athletes with unprecedented success. You should also know he has been dubbed the Trainer to the stars for his work with many Actors who were preparing for their roles in Basketball movies. I can't stress it enough. Andre/THA Family Basketball would be an asset to any organization.

I first met Coach Britton through a mutual friend in 2006 at the Famed ABCD Camp in New Jersey. Each of us had a player playing at the Camp. As we watched the mass talent assembled, we talked basketball. I found out that he had workouts going on. He invited me to one of his workouts. At the time he held his workouts at an unbelievable state of the art facility called Reebok Sports Club in NYC. When I walked into the gym I was Astonished to see what he had going on. He had NBA players from the Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, OKC Thunder. Dallas Mavericks ETC, and some of the Nation's top Collegiate Players from the likes of UConn, Kentucky, USC, Georgetown to name a few. The workouts were GREAT, and it was a true pleasure to see Coach Britton at work. His knowledge and how he ran his workouts were pretty much ahead of its time. They worked every aspect of the game. From skill work to conditioning to defense before going into the scrimmages. The fact that he was able to manage all of the personalities was a marvel in itself but the respect that each and every one of those players showed in listening and carrying out what was asked of them was unbelievable to see. He really ran his session like the Pro I witnessed him to be. When I got back home to Houston, TX I told some friends about the experience and to my amazement one of my friends knew of Coach Britton. It was then that I found out that he was one of the top basketball trainers in the Country. Over the years he has been instrumental in my growth as a Coach. I am proud to say that he and I are great friends till this day.  I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their game. I guarantee you will leave much better than when you first walk in.
